Performance Opportunities

As the teaching practice in Salisbury grows, there will be opportunities for soloists to perform in occasional Singers’ Concerts, which provide a platform for performing new songs and developing performance skills. Ensemble work is encouraged: many students combine forces to learn duets and trios.

The Singers’ Concerts are presented informally and, while providing an educational platform, they have facilitated a community of friends, linking people with common interests.

There are also possibilities for informal musical evenings for adults and young singers respectively, which enable students to try out new songs without any pressure and offers a relaxed way of getting to know others in their peer group.

Plans for each year include masterclasses and workshops from experts in the profession. Please see the Diary for further information.

For those who wish to take exams, I offer tuition for Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Trinity Guildhall exams, from grade 1 through to diploma level. I also prepare students for auditions (such as auditions for choirs, music scholarships for high schools, conservatoire entrance, for the National Youth Choir and National Children's Choir).
